There are many roles in the building industry that can suit a wide range of personal needs. These roles include doing hands-on work on-site such as working as a Surveyor setting out a building site, being a Tradesperson on the building, or a Site Foreman coordinating the tradespersons on site. If working in the office is your preference then roles such as an Estimator or Contracts Administrator might suit you. Or you might be seeking a more senior role such as a Project Manager in charge of completing whole projects, or a Construction Manager overseeing the multiple projects of a major building company.

Alternatively your ambition may be to become a registered builder, responsible for your own building projects.
