Trade Institute of Victoria is a leading vocational training organisation specialising in Building and Construction education. We are located in Williamstown, with extensive training facilities and a dynamic, friendly learning environment.

We have recently expanded our scope of training as the base on which to build for the future.  We are seeking to grow our team of experienced, committed, education professionals to take us into a future encompassing multiple approaches to training and assessment across a range of Building and Construction qualifications including:

• Certificate II in General Construction
• Certificate III in:
• Bricklaying and Block Laying
• Wall and Ceiling Lining (Dry Wall Plasterer)
• Solid Plasterer
• Carpentry
• Carpentry and Joining
• Painting and Decorating
• Concreting
• Certificate IV in Building and Construction:
  • Building
  • Estimating
  • Site Management
• Diploma in Building and Construction:
  • Building
  • Management

Training technologies will include –

• Classroom and simulated workplace environment
• Workplace based (Cert III Apprentices and Cert IV and Diploma Trainees)
• Recognition of Prior Learning
• VCAL

To be part of our team you must –

• Hold the TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent;
• Have the relevant vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered or assessed;
• Demonstrate current industry skills directly relevant to the training/assessment being undertaken;
• Be strongly committed to making a difference for students, apprentices or trainees and their employers;
• Be flexible, a great communicator and intensely interested in your own growth and development.
